Day By Day

Day 1 Arrival in Shanghai
Upon arriving in Shanghai, your local guide will meet you and you will be driven to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or explore Shanghai on your own.

 

Day 2 Shanghai
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: the Shanghai Museum, Shanghai World Financial Center, Yu Garden, Yuyuan Market
In the morning after breakfast, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to visit the Shanghai Museum, arguably the best museum in China. After your visit to the museum you will be taken to the newly opened Shanghai World Financial Center to get a bird's eye view of Shanghai from its observation decks. After lunch on the banks of the Huangpu River, you will be driven to the spectacular ancient Yu Garden, the only surviving ancient garden in Shanghai. After strolling through the amazing garden, you will visit the Yuyuan Market located outside. The market is a great place to see how locals live and shop.

 

Day 3 Shanghai/Suzhou/Shanghai
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: the Pan Gate, the Humble Administrator's Garden, the No.1 Silk Factory
In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the city of Suzhou (1.5 hours). When you arrive in Suzhou, the first stop will be the Pan Gate, an example of an ancient city gate and the only surviving water/land gate in China. After lunch you will then be drive to the Humble Administrator's Garden, one of the four most famous traditional Chinese gardens in Suzhou.After your cruise, you will be taken to the No.1 Silk Factory to see how silkworms create silk which is woven into amazing objects. In the evening you will be driven back to Shanghai.

 

Day 4 Shanghai/Huangshan

Places to visit: The Bund, Nanjing Road
In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to The Bund, known as a Museum of Western Architecture, this fantastic street is lined with western styled buildings built during the late Qing Dynasty. You will then visit Nanjing Road, known as the No.1 Shopping Street in China and witness for yourself the vibe of this amazing city. Your local guide will then escort you to the airport for your flight to the city of Huangshan. Upon your arrival in Huangshan City, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax.

 

Day 5 Huangshan
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: Brush Pen Peak, Believe Peak, Xihai Grand Canyon, the Cloud Dispelling Pavilion
In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to Huangshan (Yellow) Mountain.You will take a cable car to the top of the mountain. You will then check into your hotel and have lunch. After lunch, you will begin your unforgettable tour of the mountain. You will first visit Brush Pen Peak, followed by Begin to Believe Peak. You will be truly awed by the beauty of Huangshan (Yellow) Mountain, its ancient pines, bizarre rock formations and flora and fauna. You will then climb to the Xihai Grand Canyon, perhaps the most beautiful section of the mountain. In the evening you will watch the sun set from the Cloud Dispelling Pavilion.

 

Day 6 Huangshan (Yellow) Mountain
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: Flying Rock, Brightness Apex, Turtle Peak, Ink Stick Factory, Tunxi Ancient Street
In the morning your guide will waken you early to catch Huangshan’s magical sunrise. You will then have your breakfast in the hotel before continuing your tour of Huangshan (Yellow Mountain). You will pass Flying Rock, Brightness Apex, and Turtle Peak before taking the cable car down the mountain, where your car will be waiting. You will then be driven back to the city of Huangshan to visit the Ink Stick Factory which will demonstrate for you how China's famous inks were created using natural ingredients. These inks are used in traditional Chinese paintings. You will then visit the Tunxi Ancient Street before checking into your hotel for the evening.

 

Day 7 Huangshan/Xidi/Hongcun/Shanghai
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: villages of Hongcun and Xidi
After having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to the ancient villages of Hongcun and Xidi. These two ancient villages have remained virtually untouched for centuries and their unbelievable architecture and feng-shui design never fails to enchant visitors. In the evening you will be driven to the airport for your flights to Shanghai.

 

Day 8 Shanghai/Hong Kong
Meals: B, L
On this day you will be free to explore this city until your guide meets you and you will be driven to the airport for your flight to Hong Kong. After arriving in Hong Kong your tour guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest day is for your rest.

 

Day 9 Hong Kong
Meals: B, L
Places to visit: Victoria Peak, Aberdeen, Repulse Bay
In the morning after having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and you will be driven to Central for your tram ride up to Victoria Peak, which will give you a fantastic bird’s eye view of Hong Kong. You will then be driven to Aberdeen where you will see an entire community living on small houseboats as they have for centuries. After Aberdeen, you will be driven to Repulse Bay, the most luxurious section of Hong Kong, is famous for its architecture, boutiques, and golden beaches.

 

Day 10 Hong Kong/Departure
Meals: B
On this day you will be free until your guide meets you and you are driven to the airport for your flight home.

Transportation & Private Transfers:

Transportation cost covers all the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax, train tickets between the cities as the itinerary specified.


Transfer between airports, railway station, hotels and scenic spots for sightseeing around the cities that are specified by the itinerary with private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.


Entrance Fees:

All entrance fees to the scenic spots listed in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by private tour guides depends on the real-time local circumstances wheather are beyond the control of Access China Travel. We will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.


Normal Meals:

All normal meals as the itinerary specified: B = breakfast, L = Lunch, D = dinner in local restaurant. Breakfasts are served in hotel, breakfasts have Chinese or Western style for your option; Lunches are served in carefully selected quality local Chinese restaurants with best service, your lunches will be ordered by your guide catering to your preferences within normal standard. Dinners as the itinerary specified will be also served in local Chinese restaurants. The meal quotation is normalized. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, famous rare dishes, Indian food or more, please inform us in advance. For the unspecified dinners, you will have dinner on your own. Feel free to ask your local guide for suggestions or recommendation.


Private Sightseeing Escort:

Normal sightseeing activities as the itinerary listed will be escorted with English-speaking guide. The English-speaking guide and driver in each city are with you throughout the entire itinerary around that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.


Hotel Accommodation:

Hotel service criterion: two adults share on one standard twin/double-bed room; solo traveler who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room assigned is required for extra single supplement rate. A single room is available on prior request at an additional cost; if a recommended hotel unavailable, it will be replaced by one of the same class. All hotels as the itinerary listed serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.

The tour cost includes the planning, handling, booking, operation and communication charges.
