The Changchun film-studio museum in the city of Changchun, Jilin province got a special visit from a group of Russian journalists who came to see the development of China's film industry over the past seven decades, on May 10.
The museum is on the grounds of the Changchun Film Studio which is known as the cradle of Chinese film, so the visitors could easily get a chance to study the history of Chinese film over those decades.
The studio has also translated and dubbed a large number of foreign movies, including many Soviet ones that came to have an immense influence on the hearts and minds of a goodly number of Chinese.
The Russians' visit was part of a larger tour of Jilin province to promote more cooperation with Russia's Far East region in the economy, culture, and tourism, and to give Northeast Chinese a better understanding of their sprawling neighbor.
