NE China, Harbin Combining Tourism Resources

The Harbin Jiusan Society in the city of Harbin, Heilongjiang province has called for the better use of the area’s urban and rural tourism resources to offer more possibilities and for improvements in infrastructure, transportation, power supplies, accommodations, telecommunications and the environment.

Jiusan, which is one of China’s eight non-Communist parties, made the proposal the 12th Municipal Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) 5th Session While pointing to the city’s beautiful winter landscape, European-style architecture, revolution memorials, leisure gardens, resorts, farm stays, summer forest resorts, and sport facilities, and calling for better-planned tours.
