Harbin Residents Getting Better Reservoir Water

People in the city of Harbin, Heilongjiang province will be drinking healthier water after work on an ecological buffer area on Mopan (Millstone) Mountain, a major water source, is completed for better water conservation because of forestation.

It will have a system for monitoring and analyzing water quality to ensure 100 percent compliance with standards. The reservoir administration says that the system automatically measures water quality in the area and can send a warning of any water pollution, through data analysis, computing, and satellite technology.
