Shenyang to Host 2nd China (Liaoning) International Elderly Care Expo

The Second China (Liaoning) International Elderly Care Expo will be held in Shenyang International Exhibition Center on Sept 17, according to Xinhua.

The Expo is organized by Liaoning Senior Care Association with the theme “developing an innovative and integrated senior care industry.” In addition, the Ninth China (Liaoning) International Agricultural Products Fair and the Fifteenth China (Shenyang) Agricultural Expo and 2015 Fashion, Home and Health Products Expo will be held at the same time.

According to the Organizing Committee, the Expo will have 10 exhibition areas ranging from pensions and insurance products to elderly apartments and nursing homes.

This Expo will bring together the latest concepts, products, technologies and services for seniors. Dozens of smart products such as household robots will appear at the Expo for the first time. Other highlights include welfare cars, smart wash basins, rehabilitation beds, voice phones, and smart watches, reflecting the new trends in senior services.

The Expo will cover an exhibition area of 13,200 square meters. 500 international standard booths will be set and about 300 domestic and foreign exhibitors from Japan, South Korea and Britain will attend. It’s expected to attract tens of thousands of exhibitors, distributors, professionals and consumers.

During the Expo, the Organizing Committee will host activities such as promotion meetings, senior art performances, and health checks.
