Taxi Passengers in NE China Betting Free Wifi Service Soon

People in the city of Harbin will soon be able to enjoy online chatting, reading, shopping or video services thanks to a free Wifi service if they take the Long Win Modern Transportation Co’s taxis, the company announced recently.

It also said that it is fixing mobile routers for the first group of 350 B-class sedans and will apply them to all of the 1,700 plus taxis later this month. In the first 100 taxis, passengers can gain Internet access at a maximum speed of 20 mbps, with notices on how to log in with a mobile phone, computers or other mobile device posted.
