China Southern Airlines, one of China’s major carriers, says it has plans to add 395 flights to and from Heilongjiang province over the next three months, according to the Heilongjiang office, on July 21.
By July 20, the airline had seen an increase of nearly 20 percent in its passenger flow volume compared with the same period last year and the additional flights are needed to meet the increasing inbound and outbound demand during the peak summer season.
Its flights connecting Harbin and Japan's Niigata are increasing to six a week starting July 21, and then will fly every day, from Sept 1 and the company has plans to open a twice-a-week route from Harbin to Vladivostok, Russia, on Aug 1.
