Harbin International College Students Snow Sculpture Competition Ends in China

With 89 teams from 11 countries, including Russia, Germany and Ukraine, competing for four days, the seventh International College Students Snow Sculpture Competition brought down the curtain at the cultural park of Harbin Engineering University on Jan 7.

Snow sculptures by another 10 teams won the first prize in the competition, includingAwaking Momentby Beijing Institute of Technology,Pursuingby Tianjin Fine Arts Academy,Joyful Youth Dreamby Harbin Normal University,Travel with Joyby Harbin Huade University,Meaning of Arrivalby Shanxi University, andInspiration Snow, Flying Dreamsby South China Normal University.

Participants created their works according to their understanding of the theme "Inspiration Snow Dream" of the competition and used up to 2,326.5 cubic meters of snow, a number breaking the world record maintained by the competition in the past.
