Enjoy Summer at Harbin Wanda Theme Park

Wanda Theme Park in Harbin, capital city of Heilongjiang province reopened to the public and released its activity schedule for the summer on April 28. Officials from the park, its partners, and journalists from 22 media organizations in Northeast China attended the opening ceremony.



Flowers and international foods

In front of the entrance, the “Spring Butterfly” sculpture stood ready to welcome visitors to enjoy the beauty of flowers. The five thematic areas in the park –– Harbin Street, Xing’an Snowfield, Wusuli Fishermen Song, Lilac Fairyland and Festive Times, had been decorated with various colorful flowers.

On the same day, Harbin (Songbei) First Crayfish Festival & Global Food Carnival also kicked off in the square outside the park. From April 28 to May 2, Harbin residents were able to sample snacks and foods from Thai, Russian, Indian, European and American cuisines, and the traditional foods from Sichuan, Guangdong and Shanxi provinces. Many different types of crayfish cooked in different flavors were also served.



Entertainment

The park has many outdoor recreation facilities, allowing visitors to fully relax and enjoy themselves. For younger visitors there are various 4D games to play, as well as games designed especially for very young children.

The popular children’s plays “The Wizard of Forest” and “Lilac Fairyland” will also be staged with the help of advanced stage technologies, creating the feeling of actually being there.



Music and refreshments

In May, the park will arrange more outdoor activities, including a wedding festival, to encourage people to take more exercise in the open air.

To celebrate Dragon Boat Festival, which falls on June 18 this year, the park will play host to the 1st Fluorescence Music Festival on June 17 and 18. Activities, such as night parades and firework shows, will be put on.

At the anniversary celebration on June 30, the park will open for 60 hours straight. During the World Cup, visitors could also drink beer, watch games and enjoy Russian food at the Beer Festival.

Harbin Wanda Theme Park is a major tourist destination during the summer months. With its well-equipped facilities and excellent services, the park has been awarded several prizes, such as the Annual Disinguished Contribution Award, the 2017 Longjiang Attitude Most Popular Scenic Area, and the award for being the National Best Theme Park.
