Harbin International Assembled Ice Sculpture Championship

Harbin International Assembled Ice Sculpture Championship is a great activity held in the Harbin Ice & Snow World, organized by the Harbin Ma Dier Group also the organizer of Harbin Ice and Snow World.

The first Ice-assemblage Sculpture Contest is held in December 29 2011-Jan 3 2012, and there are international artist from Russian, Ukraine, France, Singapore, Malaysia Vietnam and domestic professionals from Beijing, Harbin, Hangzhou presented their unique ice sculptures. And the awarding works are display on the annual Harbin Ice Snow World which open to public on Jan 5^th every year.

The difference between assembled ice sculpture and common ice sculpture is: assembled ice sculpture is made up of 12 pieces of ice block (50 cm in height, 40cm in thickness, and 1 meter in length), and these 12 pieces of ice sculptures would made up of a story which has higher demand for artistic level and physical fitness. While common ice sculpture is made up of a large ice block from Songhua River.
